The Municipality of Mantova acts as the lead organization of the provincial network, which today consists of 12 high schools. A record funding and the Excellence Certificate The 2025/2026 edition of the project marks an important milestone for the Mantova territory thanks to the assignment of a total funding of 273,418 euros, the highest obtained since the program's launch in 2021. This success is confirmed by the prestigious Erasmus+ Excellence Certificate, awarded in 2025 to the Municipality of Mantova by the European Union for the high quality and effective management of international mobility projects. The recognition attests the constant growth of the path built over the years by the provincial school network and will allow for further expansion of the opportunities for students and school staff to study abroad. Teacher training The 23 teachers involved have participated in five different courses of training and professional updating, hosted between Valencia and Porto. During the mobility, lasting one week each, key topics were deepened: Innovation in teaching; Use of digital tools and artificial intelligence; Management of diversity and inclusion; Development of relational skills and educational leadership. Summer mobility for 99 students Starting from June, the summer courses dedicated to students will begin. 99 girls and boys will live an experience of three-week training in European companies and professional realities. The destinations planned for this edition will be Ireland, Spain, and Portugal, with departures distributed between June, July, and August to the cities of Tralee, Ballybunion, Valencia, Alicante, La Coruña, Santiago de Compostela, and Porto. Growth numbers The number of students involved represents the highest peak ever reached by the Mantova Erasmus+ project: from 44 participants in the first edition (2021/2022) to the 99 planned for the current year, with an increase of about 25% compared to the previous year.
