Mantova, a wolf cub was saved after being run over by a combine harvester in a field. The litter may belong to a pack of wolves living in the nearby Carpaneta Forest. The incident occurred in the morning of today, Thursday, in a field in the territory of Castelbelforte, a town about 15 kilometers from Mantova. The operator on board the combine harvester realized what had happened and alerted the owner of the agricultural company, who tried to help the wolf cubs and immediately contacted the Ersaf of Lombardy. The agents of the Mantova Provincial Police arrived on the scene and recovered the surviving and injured cub, transferring it with the utmost urgency to the Lodi Veterinary Hospital. The little wolf will receive all the necessary care to recover. According to what was reconstructed by the agents of the Mantova Provincial Police, the litter involved in the incident may belong to a pack of wolves that is being monitored in the area of the Carpaneta Forest.
